Goa University offers two-year MA programme divided into four semesters. MA is available in various specialisations, namely Economics,  English,  Environmental Science, Hindi, etc. Aspirants who have completed any of the UG degree can apply for MA. Goa University offers various UG, PG and doctoral-level courses at campur or through affiliated colleges. The university offers UG courses such as BA, BBA, BSc, etc., while all the PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MCom, MCA, etc., are taught through various schools and departments at the university and affiliated colleges. Government of Goa has fee waiver scheme for Goa University students. This Scheme provides free access to every SC/ ST student, to the institutions of higher learning pursuing the courses of General Education and by Directorate of Technical Education for students pursuing Technical education at the degree and post graduate level. Besides, students are also open to scholarships offered by the government.
