Goa University BA Portuguese course structure is divided into semester-pattern. Hence, the curriculum includes subjects semester-wise. The University also offers the Free Studentship, Student Aid Fund and, earn while you learn scheme in addition to scholarships from Government and Non-Government agencies. The Directorate of Students Welfare coordinates and supports activities such as financial support through the Student Aid Fund and Earn While You Learn Scheme.

Goa University BSc admission is entirely merit-based for the year 2024 and candidates seeking admission to the BSc at Goa University must qualify the Class 12 or equivalent examination with the respective subjects from a recognised Board. Therefore, Class 12 marks are enough for admission to the BSc programme.
