National Institute of Technology Goa is a public/government college which was established in 2010. National Institute of Technology Goa is ranked 90 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) for BTech. Being a public/government college, the fee is not very high but even if the students find the fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships offered by the National Institute of Technology Goa.

NIT Goa admission is primarily entrance-based. Students are selected on the basis of various national-level entrance tests, like JEE Main, GATE, etc. The final Selection for the BTech programme is based on the allocation of seats through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling. Follow the steps given belolw to apply for admission to various courses:Step 1: Visit the official website of NIT Goa.Step 2: Click on the Apply Now tab.Step 3: Select the course.Step 4: Pay the application fee and fill out the application form.

Yes, NIT Goa offers scholarships to postgraduate, PhD, and undergraduate students. These scholarships are meant to act as financial assistance for students. The college offers Shraman Foundation Scholarships for financially underprivileged students first and second-year of BTech students. Shraman Foundation Scholarships are offered to eligible students with a poor socio-economic background and with a family income of INR 2.50 LPA or less.
