The entrance exams accepted by the Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology are JEE Main, UPCET, BTech, GPAT and others. The basic eligibility criteria for various undergraduate courses is Class 12 with a minimum of 45% to 50% aggregate. Candidates must pass BTech with 45% aggregate. In order to apply to the BTech course at NIET College, candidates need to meet the last educational qualification. Students should complete Class 12 with 45%-40% aggregate. Aspirants who do not complete Class 12 are not eligible for BTech course admission in this college. Apart from this, the selection criteria for the BTech course is JEE Main followed by UPTAC counselling.

The candidate needs to appear for the JEE Exam and appear in online counselling of UPCAT. Candidate needs to opt NIET as the preferred choice in any of the branches offered by the institute. The college may conduct admission tests/on a merit basis/other criteria defined by the college admission policy.

Gautam Buddha University offers two-year MA course divided into four semesters. The university offers MA in Journalism and Mass Communication, Sanskrit, Public Policy and Governance, etc. The minimum requirement to apply for MA programme is graduation. GBU offers direct admission to candidates based on their merit in the last qualifying exam for MA.
