Yes, Gautam Buddha University accepts JEE Main score for admission to BTech programme. The university also conducts GBU-ET for admission to BTech course. The exam is conducted in CBT mode. GBU-ET is conducted at designated centre. The date of exam and schedule is notified to candidates 15 days well in advance before the examination.

Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for Gautam Buddha University BTech programme. Candidates need to complete three years/ two years Diploma exam with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) to apply for BTech (LE). Aspirants with BSc degree or DVoc can also apply.

Academic fee shall be refunded in case of withdrawal of admission from the course of study in which he/ she is enrolled as per the UGC norms. Gautam Buddha University shall refund the security deposit in full. Once the hostel is allotted, then the hostel fee for the semester shall not be refunded in case of admission withdrawal.

Gautam Buddha University shortlists candidates for most of the courses based on GBU-ET. It is a university entrance exam conducted for admission to MBA, BTech, PhD, etc. National or state-level entrance exams such as GATE, CLAT, JEE Main, etc. are also accepted for a few courses. For courses such as BA, MA, MSc, MTech, etc., the admissions are based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

Yes, candidates can get direct admission in Gautam Buddha University based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Direct admission is possible only for a few courses such as MA, BA, BCom, MTech, etc. Such candidates only need to fill out the application form and meet the eligibility requirements for admission.
