Candidates who have complete a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate or CPI/ CGPA of 5.5 in 10 point scale in the qualifying degree in relevant subjects can apply for SOT PDEU M.Tech course. The subject requirement varies specialisation-wise for M.Tech programme. Aspirants applying for M.Tech must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.

The total fee for SOT PDEU M.Tech is INR 3.25 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates need to pay the programme fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat in the unviersity. The total fee includes a refundable caution deposit of INR 10,000 and a refundable library deposit of INR 3,000. Apart from the programme fee, aspirants also need to pay an application fee in the start. The application fee is INR 700 for each programme.

SOT Pandit Deendayal Energy University offers two-year M.Tech programme divided into four semesters. The school offers M.Tech in various specialisations, such as Environmental, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc. The admission to MTech programme will be based on GATE score. Non-GATE candidates can also get admission based on their performance in the personal interview round.
