The average package offered over the past few years is yet to be released. Meanwhile, the table below represents the median package to get an estimate. As per the NIRF report 2024, the median package for UG (3-year), BTech, UG (5-year), and PG (2-year) courses has improved year-on-year from 2021 to 2023. Alongside, the median package for PG (3-year) increased from 2021 to 2022 and was the same in 2022 and 2023. The Guwahati University MBA placement details will be updated here as soon as released. The University has released the overall placement data for PG (2-year) courses. Out of 1,951 PG (2-year) graduates 421 were placed during the 2023 drive. Earlier, 398 out of 1,971 students were placed during 2022 placements. Further, the median package for PG (2-year) courses has improved year-on-year from 2021 to 2023. In 2013, the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Guwahati was founded.It was rated 112 for BTech in the NIRF 2022. It was rated 723rd in India and 11019th in the world in 2023.The Indian parliament designated IIIT Guwahati as a "Institute of National Importance" in July 2017.The only IIIT in PPP mode to rank in the top 200 in this category.
