The Institute of Hotel Management Gwalior boasts two hostel blocks situated on opposite sides of the campus. Each hostel room accommodates two students and provides exceptional boarding amenities in a clean and hygienic setting. Within each section of 6 to 7 rooms, there are attached toilets and bathrooms. During winter, the hostels ensure hot water availability, and drinking water is readily accessible. For students without personal computers, there are designated computer facilities available for use during specified hours.

The placement statistics for the highest package offered at IHM Gwalior have not yet been released. However, IHM Gwalior has an active training and placement cell. As per the media reports, a total of 157 students have been successfully placed in reputed companies. While the average CTC offered during the placements at IHM Gwalior is 16,000, there is no information about the highest placement package.

Institute of Management Gwalior offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of hospitality and hotel management. Earlier, the institute used to offer undergraduate Diploma courses and certificate courses with various specialisations. Nonetheless, the institute has discontinued all the Diploma and certificate courses and offers only BSc and MSc with no specialisations.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIITM Gwalior - Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 18109. In 2022, it decreased to 14912. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 29609 to 22029 for OBC, 68071 to 76891 for SC, 178342 to 124467 for ST, 23911 to 18355 for EWS, 1240 to 708 for PWD. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Integrated B.Tech. in Information Technology + MBA at IIITM Gwalior - Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management other than General category are - 22029 for OBC, 76891 for SC, 124467 for ST, 18355 for EWS, 708 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
