PIET DPharma admissions are offered based on students merit in the qualifying examination. The allocation of seats is done via the HSTES counselling process. As per the latest cutoff information available, the HSTES last round closing rank for the General All India category in 2022 stood at 1340.

Yes, students enrolled in the PIET DPharma programme are required to undergo a mandatory training programme. The DPharma programme is divided into two years. Students, after appearing in the second year of the programme are required to go for three months of practical training. These trainings are conducted at pharmacy stores approved by PCI. They can also opt to work in a government hospital. Admission to DPharma courses is subject to rules of reservation. As per the PIET DPharma reservation policy, 85% of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the home state (Haryana). The rest of the 25% seats are reserved for other students. Thus, to get a seat, students must apply for the course on institute's official website. After that, they must register and appear for HSTES counselling.
