Candidates must have qualified their Class 12 examination with a minimum of 50% marks and the compulsory subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for eligibility in B.E. / B.Tech in NGF College of Engineering and Technology. For reserved categories, a relaxation of 5% is applied. In addition, entrance exams like JEE Main or state-level entrance exams, such as Haryana CET, must be qualified by the candidates. Also, an age limit may be stipulated by the college or examination authority, which usually doesn't exceed 25 years. Candidates also must submit relevant documents for validation. Then they undergo Centralized Admission Process (CAP) that allots seat according to the merit and the choices they prefer.

There are scholarships- Merit-cum-means scholarships, which covers 67% of fee exemption, for students whose families' incomes are less than INR 4.5 LPA. Also, a scholarship instituted by the institute is known as the institute SC/ST Scholarship, during which eligible students get benefits like free mess charges and pocket allowances. These others are purely merit-based. The Girish Ready scholarship is for INR 25,000 a year for specific candidates, the scholarship providing financial aids so that there is equal excellence in students' access and education.
