The merit list is prepared based on the marks of candidates in the qualifying exam.Aspirants with their names in the merit list and required to confirm their admission by paying the course fee. Yes, Himachal Pradesh University offers BA programme in distance education mode through International Centre for Distance Education and Open Learning. Candidates need to complete Class 12 conducted by HP Board (or in case of Shastri, pass in Prak Shastri from Sanskrit Colleges affiliated to HPU) or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the various bodies of the HP University to apply for BA in distance education mode.

Yes, HPU offers three-year BA at the UG level through Department of Evening Studies. The BA programme is divided into six semesters. Besides, the university also offers three-year BA and BA (Hons) courses through more than 150 affiliated colleges. HPU also offers BA programme in distance education mode through International Centre for Distance Education and Open Learning.
