Both the Universities are well regarded and reputed institutions not in Himachal Pradesh but in whole country. But both can be compared on various basis such as faculty, infrastructure, research opportunities or placements.Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) is Central University all funded by central government.It offers a range of UG, PG and doctoral courses.It relatively have newer infrastructure and facilities since it is Central government funded.It more emphasize research due to its central university status.Its Campus is also good but small in comparison with other central universities. The necessary documents which are required:1.Marksheets of all education completed till now i.e. 10, 12, Diploma, Degree, etc.2.Certificates of Diploma and Degree. 3.If any gap in education then you should provide Gap Certificate. 4.Caste Certificate if Applicable, example SC, ST, OBC, etc.5.If you are applicable for EWS or PWD then that certificates. 6.Residence proof which may be Aadhar card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence, etc. 7.If applicable Transfer Certificate or Migration Certificate.

IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors: The JEE Advanced score of the candidate The category of the candidate The number of seats available in the course Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 2710 and closing rank was 2909. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1205 and 6192. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Mandi  is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering is 13850 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission at IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology.

Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 3637 and 20858. Admission to B.Tech. in Civil Engineering at IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
