All three universities—Chitkara, LPU, and Chandigarh University—are good for Interior Design, but if I'm being honest, I've always dreamt of being at Chandigarh University since I was in 11th grade. It's been a goal of mine, and now that I'm here, I can say it's been worth it.Chandigarh University has a really great Interior Design program. The teachers are super helpful and know a lot about the subject. They teach not just theory but also how to apply it in real life. It's been a goal of mine, and now that I'm here, I can say it's been worth it.Chandigarh University has a really great Interior Design program. The teachers are super helpful and know a lot about the subject. They teach not just theory but also how to apply it in real life. We get a lot of opportunities to work on projects, and there are workshops that help you learn better. Plus, there are labs where we can try out different design tools and software, which is really important for Interior Design. The best things which I personally liked the most are:Industrial Visits: Visits to leading design exhibitions like INT-EXT EXPO and furniture stores like HATIL provide insights into current trends and market demands.Workshops: Regular workshops, such as those focused on sustainable materials and space design, are held by industry leaders and experienced professionals.Modern Labs: The programme is supported by advanced labs and state-of-the-art facilities, including software like AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and Sketchup. There are also diverse electives available, such as Product Design, UI/UX Design, Exhibition Design, Furniture Design, and Retail Space Design, which help broaden our understanding and skills in the field. One of the best things about CU is the placements. They have a lot of connections with big companies, and the placement cell works hard to get us internships and job offers. I've seen many seniors land good jobs with famous companies, and that motivates me even more. The campus is also amazing. There's a good vibe here, and it feels like you're in the right place to learn and grow. The facilities like the classrooms, labs, and design studios are perfect for Interior Design students.
