Himachal Pradesh University maintains 13 hostels: 4 for boys and 9 for girls. These provide accommodations to approx. 972 girls and 567 boys students. All hostels have facilities of mess, internet connectivity through Wi-Fi and LAN, common room equipped with LED TV, current magazines, newspapers and Indoor games. Each hostel has a warden and office staff who are responsible for its smooth functioning and to carry out routine activities. Besides, all hostels are under CCTV surveillance 24x7.

IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology released 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs are released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 3834 and closing rank was 4089. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1333 and 8467. Admission to B.Tech. in Data Science and Engineering in IIT Mandi - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
