Both the Universities are well regarded and reputed institutions not in Himachal Pradesh but in whole country. But both can be compared on various basis such as faculty, infrastructure, research opportunities or placements.Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) is Central University all funded by central government.It offers a range of UG, PG and doctoral courses.It relatively have newer infrastructure and facilities since it is Central government funded.It more emphasize research due to its central university status.Its Campus is also good but small in comparison with other central universities. The Central University of Himachal Pradesh is one of the premier central research university in India. But Central University of Himachal Pradesh is not widely known for its engineering courses since engineering is often associated with specialised engineering institutes with well known faculty, well-equipped resources and a history of famous alumni. Central University of Himachal Pradesh also lacks good placement and job opportunities.

The necessary documents which are required:1.Marksheets of all education completed till now i.e. 10, 12, Diploma, Degree, etc.2.Certificates of Diploma and Degree. 3.If any gap in education then you should provide Gap Certificate. 4.Caste Certificate if Applicable, example SC, ST, OBC, etc.5.If you are applicable for EWS or PWD then that certificates. 6.Residence proof which may be Aadhar card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence, etc. 7.If applicable Transfer Certificate or Migration Certificate.

According to The Central University of Himachal Pradesh, the admission criteria for MBA courses require candidates to have completed a Bachelor’s/UG degree or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying exam. Applicants are required to appear for the CUET (PG). The Central University of Himachal Pradesh provides 2 major courses are Master of Business Administration, and an MBA in travel and tourism management of 2 years.

I don't think that JEE entrance exam is necessary to join Central university of Himachal Pradesh. Either you have not appeared for JEE, you can join Central university of Himachal Pradesh by appearing in the Central university of Himachal Pradesh entrance exam named CUET-UG and CUET-PG. After appearing for the entrance exam, results are declared and then you can take admission. Depending upon the score you can join Central university of Himachal Pradesh. And you can also get admission through reserved categories like SC, ST, EWS, PWD, etc.

In Central University of Himachal Pradesh the Total fees for MA which has total 14 different courses is about 4000 to 5400. And eligibility criteria is graduation with minimum 50% and entrance exam CUET- PG. Different courses such as MA in Political Science, Hindi, English Language and Literature, Economics, Sociology, History, Journalism, Punjabi, New media and Communication and many more such courses. And all these courses has 33 seats. And course fees of 4k . With average package of 2.5 Lakh.
