GJUST admission to BA (Hons) course is based on an entrance exam conducted by the university. The university will announce the entrance test result on the official website of the university. After the release of the result, GJUST releases a merit list announcing the names of shortlisted candidates. Further, a counselling round is conducted for document verification and final selection. The candidates will be required to present herself/ himself before the Counseling Board/ Admission Committee of respective department and mark her/ his presence and then she/ he will need to produce all original certificates for verification and checking

The total tuition fee for BA (Hons) Mass Communication and BA (Hons) Research ranges between INR 30,000 and INR 1.5 lakh. The total fee includes admission/ continuation fee, development fund, tuition fee, exam fee and other charges. Candidates must pass graduation in any stream with at least 50% aggregate (47.5% aggregate for SC candidates of Haryana recognised university. However, the candidates who have studied Mathematics at secondary level/ equivalent-level or at graduation level/ equivalent level will be given preference and may be considered for admission in this programme, if seats remain vacant. Additionally, GJUST admission to MBA course is based on CAT score followed by a GDPI round.
