IIEST Shibpur BTech students are placed in top companies in top sectors. BTech students can become Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Chemical Engineers, or can take up various jobs relevant to their stream. The Engineering faculty is quite experienced and has years of successful professional experience in relevant fields. Hence, BTech from IIEST Shibpur is worth pursuing.

The cut offs are quite competitive but they are still attainable for various course students with a good prior preparation. BTech is one of the most desired courses present in India. BTech being the most preferred course, has the highest level of competition.
