SCET is an approved engineering college in Kerala, India. It's affiliated with Calicut University and AICTE-approved. Even though it may not be very well known as some of the other top engineering colleges in India, it's considered to be a decent engineering institution in Kerala.

Generally, KEAM is required for B.E. / B.Tech at SCET, but the case is different for management quota. NRI quota has a special case. If you are an NRI candidate and you have completed your eligibility criteria in academics, you can get admission without KEAM.

This is especially applicable to students who could not qualify in the KEAM entrance exam. However, this particular eligibility criterion requires minimum marks in the qualifying examination- typically 12th-and clearance from the college itself.

Yes, Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology is open to various intake for undergraduates and for post-graduates in SCET. The Under graduate programs in the institute will be- B.Tech in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Embedded Systems etc. and among the M.Tech Postgraduate admissions, options which are also open in institute are for Computer Science and Industrial Biotechnology etc. and the College also gives opportunity with lateral entry for the admission.

Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology provides scholarships, but 100 percent scholarships are not generally awarded to all students. Different types of merit scholarships, government-supported scholarships, etc., are provided in Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology for all high-achieving or economically backward students.
