Aspirants who have passed a UG degree i.e. BVSc & AH with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates) are eligible to apply for the MVSc programme. Besides, the selection to MVSc programme is based on ICAR AIEEA (PG) scores.

The university fills 85% of the approved seats (i.e. State Quota Seats) from the candidates who are Bihar domicile through BCECE Board, Patna. The remaining 15% seats are filled-in on All India Basis by the ICAR New Delhi. Candidates are offered seats based on JEE Main or BCECE scores.

Yes, candidates with a valid score in JEE Main can get admission in BTech programme of BASU Patna. However, it is not mandatory to have a JEE Main score. Candidates can also get admission in BTech with BCECE entrance exam score. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board conducts pen and paper based mode test for admission to agriculture and horticulture Science courses.
