Yes, the knowledge of English language is mandatory for pursuing all the academic courses at Politecnico di Milano. Different programs have set different parameters for English proficiency. Also, at present (2022), international students will have to appear for an Italian language proficiency test who wish to study a course equal to 3-year B.Sc programme in Architectural Design and a course equal to 3-year B.Sc programme in Civil Engineering.

Yes, students who get admitted to a Laurea (equivalent to a bachelor's degree) course will be able to apply for Diritto allo Studio (DSU) scholarships, which are financial & merit-based scholarships granted after a call of grant is issued.

Yes, all the non-EU students wishing to study in Italy will need a visa. You will be able to file an application for it no sooner than three months before you plan to arrive in Italy. In case you wish to stay there for more than 90 days, you will also require your validated original admission letter (which is stamped at the Embassy).
