The IK Gujral Punjab Technical University the highest package is not out yet. Once released it will be updated here. As per the NIRF report 2023, the highest median package offered during the 2022 drive was INR 4.50 LPA and was grabbed by BTech students. The IK Gujral Punjab Technical University average package has not been released as of now. However, the median package offered during the past three years of placements is available in the NIRF report 2024. As per the report, the median package for BTech has improved from 2021 to 2023. On the contrary, a declining trend was recorded in MBA median package. The BPharm total tuition fee ranges from INR 2.1 lakh to INR 5 lakh. It is inclusive of fees at the affiliated colleges as well. Moreover, the given fee has been calculated as per the data available from unofficial sources and thus can vary. PTU releases the fee structure for the respective admission years on its official website. The total course fee is higher as that will include exam fees, university funds, security deposit, and other fee elements as well.

Candidates seeking admission to the BPharm course shall have passed class 12 with relevant subjects and should have secured at least 45% aggregate. Additionally, students shall also have a Diploma in pharmacy with at least 45% aggregate. It is compulsory for each aspirant to meet these eligibility requirements. In addition, the relevant documents such as class 12 pass and Diploma certificate have to be presented at the time of admission.

The total tuition fee ranges between INR 36,800 - INR 96,000. It must be noted that this fee is mentioned as per the data available from unofficial sources and hence is subject to change. Candidates can visit the PTU website or the admission office for any queries. Moreover, the total fee at the time of admission can be higher considering other fee elements are also added to it.

PTU BTech 2025 counselling will start in may 2025. There will be two rounds of counselling. The candidate has to pay Counselling Fee of Rs. 2,000/- (Non-Refundable) to participate in Centralized Online Counselling. : The candidate must carry all the related document(s) at the time of reporting / admission, based on which he/she is participating in Centralized Online Counselling and claiming the seat, otherwise, the provisionally allotted seat will be cancelled and candidate will have no right to claim the seat again.

Both of the universities are renowned for Engineering courses in the state. IKGPTU offer more BTech courses in comparison to Punjab University (PU). As per the unofficial sources, PTU offers 511 BTech programmes through its constituent and affiliated colleges, while PU offers 32 courses. Yes, the university offers financial aid to meritorious and students from weaker economic backgrounds. However, it is awarded to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and other criteria.
