The following is a list of the general requirements for MBA admission at Jammu colleges:Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree in any discipline from an accredited university or other organisation with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%.Scores from national admission examinations like the CAT, CMAT, or MAT are taken into consideration by many MBA colleges in Jammu. Candidates must achieve the minimum standards specified by the aforementioned colleges.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is a state university  located in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is approved by UGC and was established in 1999. It is ranked 151 for overall by NIRF IN 2023. University releases cut off scores every year on official website of university. Students can check their cutoff scores according to the courses they want to pursue. For insight let me give you cutoff of some courses in 2023: B.Arch- 1041 rankB.Tech - 55304 rank to 69379 rankM.Tech- 357 rank to 367 rank and so on.

Yes, you can easily get admission into Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University with 60% marks in class 12th. Many other courses offered by university requires 50% marks in class 12th. Like, for admission in B.Tech individual requires 60% marks in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsary subjects whereas for admission in B.Arch individual requires only 50% marks in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsary subjects.

Candidates must have taken their Class 12 Exam or any comparable qualifying examination in 2023 or have passed their Class 10+2 Exam or equivalent in 2020 or 2021 with at least 50% of their total marks from a recognised board to be eligible.Also, admission to MBA Course is done on the basis f CAT or MAT percentile. It should be between 80 to 90 percentile for admission in Shri Vaishno Devi University for MBA course.

Without a MAT, you are still welcome to enroll at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. You are eligible for the MBA program's merit-based admissions process if you took the CAT or CMAT exam.

It is a university not famous for any of specific course but have a lot of courses and skill development programmes at graduate or post graduate levels as B.Tech, MBA, B.Sc + M.Sc, MA, M.Tech, Ph.D, Engineering, Science, Arts, Management, Architecture and the  placement at SMVDU is generally good, especially for students in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department along  with this it is ranked 94th in engineering colleges in india.
