The placements from NIT Jamshedpur are well and quality oriented.
Though the placements from B.Tech are good, still the specialisation in the degree adds up to the chances of a quality placement.

One need around 240 marks in JEE Mains to get into NIT-Jamshedpur for computer science B.Tech (Hons.).

I wish you all the best for your exam. You have to score minimum 55% in your graduation. If you get 55% then you will be eligible to give XAT,in which you need to score minimum 95 percentile and clear GD-PI to get eligible for XLRI.

Since you did B.Com as a distance learning course, I will suggest you work for some time so that you know the reality of the job market and the corporate world, instead directly jumping into an MBA college. This will provide much-needed perspective.

For admission to XLRI you need to appear for XAT exams, it happens in the month for January every year. Once you have cleared XAT cut-off for XLRI, you need to attend a round of group discussion and personal interview.
Hope this helps!
All the best!
