It's considered among the top MBA colleges in India. However, when it comes to taking admission in management programs in XISS, candidates need to go through CAT/XAT/MAT examination. But if you couldn't score well in the entrance exam,  you can still get direct admission in MBA under XISS management quota seat. The managment quota seat will cost around INR 8-9 Lacs for 2 years.

The eligibility criteria for certificate courses at XISS is:Ranchi accepts CAT scores for management programmes, the upcoming 2023-25 batch cutoff will be released soon after CAT results. In 2022 for 2022-2024 batch, CAT eligible cutoff was 60 for HR, 25 for PGDM-RM, 35 (Percentile) for PGDM-FM 35 percentile, and for the XAT also, cutoff was 60.
