In BIRSA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY (BAU), Jharkhand many technical events happen throughout the year . Various activities like meeting with enterpreneurs and get to know about the industries which are related to agriculture, forestry, agroforestry etc.BIRSA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY also provides student to meet with farmers or agriculturists and get to know about the ground reality of life. Students also can study about apiculture (bee rearing) and can use its practical application in real life.

There are many cultural events occur in BIRSA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY throughout the year, like Saraswati Puja, Holi Milan Samaroh, Sarhul, Foundation Day, Annual Sports Meet, Agro Tech Kisan Mela, Diwali Party, Christmas Gathering.Despite of these events many sports related activity like Volley ball match, basketball match, badminton competition, etc. as well as academic related activity like quiz competition, elocution competition, poster making, dance competition, slogan writing etc. always use to happen in BIRSA AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY

Since we have several colleges that come under Birsa Agricultural University like Ranchi Veterinary College, Ranchi Agricultural College, College of Forestry, Agricultural Engineering College and various other colleges. So the total numbers may vary accordingly and to give an exact number would be a challenging task. However a total of approximately 15000 students are currently studying at BAU.

Yes, the institute may admit candidates without a valid IIT JAM/CUET score directly. However, this is subject to the availability of seats. The preference is given by BIT Mesra to candidates with a good score. For admission to BIT Mesra MSc Geoinformatics course, aspirants shall hold a valid BSc degree or equivalent in the relevant specialisation. Candidate should have passed the degree course from a recognised university. Moreover, the qualifying exam should have been passed with at least 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST category candidates). It is also necessary that the candidate has all the educational documents (original and copies) for verification purposes.

Some of the top recruiters for the MSc as per the Department of Mathematics are PwC, Deloitte, Bosch, Cred, Tata, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Moreover, BIT Mesra MSc placement 2023 data is not available as of now. However, as per an overall placement report for 2023, the average package receibed by placed candidates stood at INR 11.57 LPA. Yes, BIT Mesra MSc admission is based on candidates' performance in IIT JAM/CUET entrance exams. Candidates have to apply for these entrance examinations and at the institute separately. The institute does not conduct any in-house examinations for these courses. Candidates shortlisted based on merit in the accepted exam can be called for a round of counselling. During this process, the seats are allotted to the candidates. Moreover, for the integrated MSc courses, candidates have to take an online test conducted by the institute.

It is also crucial that the aspirant meets the eligibility requirement, which is BSc degree with at least 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST category candidates).
