Like many other areas, mining too was out of bounds for girls but in recent times many girls have taken this profession. Yes, for most of the top B.Tech specialisations, including Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, among others, the cutoffs have declined as compared to the last year.

Chotanagpur Law College, Ranchi offers three year Bachelor Degree in Law (LL.B) with Semester System of examination.
Eligibility for Admission : A graduate of a University or who possess such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to graduate degree of a University by the Bar Council of India who has obtained minimum 40% marks in Bachelor degree in any faculty is eligible to appear in the Entrance Test for admission in LL.B. Part-I. Relaxation of 5% of marks may be granted in favour of scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes students in qualifying examination for entrance examination.
