During IIT Jodhpur placements in 2022, the median and average package offered to BTech CSE students was INR 28.7 LPA and INR 28 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters of IIT Jodhpur in 2022 included Accenture, Amazon, IBM, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Adobe, etc.

Admission to the course is entrance-based. Aspirants are required to take JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The selected students based on merit in JEE Advanced further have to participate in JoSAA rounds of counselling. The seat allotment process is then carried out as per performance in counselling and other selection rounds.

As per the official website, the tuition fee for BTech at IIT Jodhpur is INR 8 lakh. In addition, the hostel fee and one-time payment is INR 1.52 lakh and INR 11,800, respectively. The given tuition fee is calculated on the basis of the first year/semester. Hence, the actual fee may vary. Candidates can visit the IITJ website (iitj.ac.in) or the admission office for more details related to the IIT Jodhpur BTech fee structure.

Yes, the branch can be changed at the end of the second semester. However, the student must meet the required criteria, i.e. a CGPA greater than or equal to 8.0 and 7.0 for SC/ST and PD applicants. Additionally, must have completed all prescribed course credits for the first two semesters (including the non-graded courses). Students must also have no backlog at the end of the second semester.

For BTech, as per the JoSAA R6 2022 cutoff for general category students, the closing rank for popular courses like CSE was 2430, and 3257 for AI and data science. The cutoff for Bioengineering went till 14,933. In comparison to 2021, the rank for the CSE course went from 2897 to 2430 in 2022. IIT JAM 2022 closing rank in the Fourth Admission List for MSc Physics specialisation at IIT Jodhpur stood at 600. Yes, the institute offers scholarships to meritorious students. Merit cum means scholarships are offered in each academic year to all the categories of students. To avail of the scholarship, an applicant must satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria. The application form for a scholarship can be collected from the Office of Students, Administration Building.
