Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) formerly Kanpur University, is a public state university located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1966, the university has 170 affiliated institutes in 15 districts. It is spread over 264 acres of land for providing education to candidates at UG and PG level in multiple streams such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Applications, Management, and Medicine.
Interested candidates can fill the Application Form online by visiting the official website. The application fee is INR 600/- (INR 400/- for SC/ST) which can be paid via Credit/ Debit Card/ Net-Banking or Challan.
CSJMU conducts an Online Entrance Test to offer admission in all the courses available at UG and PG level.
The University also conducts counselling for PG courses after the completion of the entrance test.
B.Tech., B.Pharm., D.Pharm. and M.Pharm. admissions are granted on the basis of a valid score in UPSEE conducted by APJAKTU. Check UPSEE Cut off
MBBS and BDS admission is based on a valid score in NEET UG followed by university-based counselling.
Admission to MD and MS in Clinal & Basic Science is based on a valid score in NEET PG while DM, M.Ch admission is based on NEET SS score.
MBA and MCA admission is also based on a valid score in UPSEE followed by counselling.
Securing admission in BUMS, BAMS, MD and MS in Ayurved & Unani is based on AYUSH Entrance Test.

Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. They did not compromise with the academics of the students. If any faculty is on leave, the classes are either adjusted or makeup lectures are planned. The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students. If I talk about the placements, the preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 30 LPA. More than 700 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 6-10 LPA.
