Jayamatha Engineering College was established in the year 1995 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. It is a private educational institution run by the management of Jaya Educational and Charitable Trust. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college has AICTE approval. It has different courses in engineering. As a private college, it functions but it does not violate the norms laid down by the government councils for technical education in India.

No, you can not get direct admission to Jayamatha Engineering College. The college offers only BTech and MTech courses. Admission to the BTech and MTech courses is done based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main and GATE exams respectively. To be eligible for the course, the candidates need to have a minimum of 50% marks in previous qualification. The college offers seven specializations in BTech and one specialization in MTech.
