In case of CIT there are 60 seats for M.Sc. Data Science and there are 40 seats in PSG Tech for the same course. In CIT the admission takes place on the basis of the cut-off obtained in the board exams, ENTRANCE EXAM CONDUCTED BY THE INSTITUTE followed by THREE LEVEL OF INTERVIEWS. If you clear this you will get admitted into the college. PGCET is not accepted by SDMIMD. You have to go through MAT/CAT/CMAT/XAT exams. All these exams are accepted by SDMIMD. You can write any of those exams and apply for the college. 75% in BBM is a good score.

You still can have admission in MBA colleges without Writing CAT Exam.
Admissions into almost all the B-School start around the month of July and close down by the end of September. Students start preparing for different entrance exams from the start of the year because if the student scores lesser than 95 percent in the entrance exam his/her chances of getting into top IIMs become really low.
However, if any student is opting for direct admission then they are required to follow institute specific selection process.
Firstly, the candidate must register either on the colleges website (online) or by visiting the college campus (offline)
