Admission is not possible directly in University B.D.T College of Engineering; instead, admissions are substantially done through the CET conducted by the Government of Karnataka. Candidates must have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with an aggregate mark of minimum 45% - 40% for the reserved categories. Admission is purely on the basis of merit under the CET and government rules and reservation policies. Also, lateral entry options available for Diploma holders.
