Admission to UG courses at Calicut University is competitive and merit-based, based on candidates' performance in the Class 12 examinations. Additionally, cut-offs are high for some courses, while in some, access is easy-one is easily admitted, which may depend on how famous the programme is, and also on how many applicants apply for it. This can be assured if one applies early and their eligibility criteria are met.
