The SJCC BA selection criteria does not include an entrance exam. The admission is based on the merit list released by MGU following its Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). Aspirants just need to make sure that they apply for CAP timely and meet the eligibility criteria. An applicant must have passed Class 12 to be eligible for BA admission at SJCC. If a candidate wants to get admission under the management quota, they must have scored at least 65% in Class 12 to be eligible for admission.

The admission dates for BA at St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) differ every year. To get an admission at SJCC, candidates have to submit their applications on the CAP portal available on the official website of Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU). This is because SJCC is affiliated with MGU. In 2024, MGU started accepting applications for CAP on May 15, 2024, and continued till the first week of July.
