Thiruvalla campus of Central University of Kerala is famous for having healthy surrounding and sound course structures, especially in lingual, economical and environmental courses. It provides a healthy atmosphere with all the requirements for teaching and learning and competent teaching staff. The Departments of St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology Chengannoor, since its inception in 2010 with imparts quality education in the field of BTech. Over the years, the departments has developed to become a center of excellence providing in-depth technical knowledge and opportunities for software development and innovation with a team of dedicated faculties. The Departments has excellent infrastructure facilities with well-equipped computer labs, lecture halls and seminar hall. Presently, each department has six diverse laboratories and all the labs are equipped with the network structure and are updated and upgraded as per the requirements and demand of the industry.

St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology, Chengannoor is situated in Chengannur, Kerala, offering a picturesque and peaceful lakeside view. The physical facilities consist of 23 classrooms, 52 laboratories, 3 seminar halls, an auditorium, a training and placement (T & P) cell, ample space for outdoor & indoor sports activities, and related academic and administrative rooms. The campus is spread over an area of 10.7 acres with comprises buildings of high-standard, classrooms with proper ventilation, numerous laboratories, a gym center, an auditorium, smart classrooms, and a library. Restrooms are provided at regular intervals in each corridor. Firefighting systems are provided at St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology Chengannoor to counter situations like fire hazards and natural calamities.
