On the basis of college reviews, courses compared, placements, campus information, campus and hostel photographs, facilities, etc. LPU (Lovely Professional University) is ranked is less then Trivandrum. In Trivandrum median package offered to students of B.Tech is Rs 6,00,000 and M.Tech is Rs 5,50,000. And In Trivandrum placements, B.Arch students got a median package of Rs 7,20,000 and M.Arch students received Rs 12,00,000. Trivandrum facilities consist of hostels, medical facilities, library, sports, IT, auditorium etc. is much better the LPU.

There are various colleges offering course of Bachelor of Design (B.Des) at very affordable fees in Kerala. National institue of Fashion Technology, Kannur with approximately fees of 2-3 Lacs per year, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam with approximately fees of 50,000-1 Lakhs per year, Kerala State institue of design, kollam with approximately fees of 2-3lakhs per year, St. Teresa College, Ernakulam with approximately fees of 50,000- 1 Lacs per year, AMrita School of arts and Sciences, Kochi with approximately fees of 1-2 Lacs per year and College of fine arts, Thiruvananthpuram with fees of 1 Lacs per year.
