Admission to LBS Institute of Technology for Women is pretty competitive yet possible. Students have to clear the KEAM entrance examination that judges their performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The institute runs several courses and intakes 534 seats in total, which makes it quite possible for most students. Usually, aggregate marks of at least 45% in the qualifying examination is the prerequisite for eligibility. Entry process is relatively simple while a seat might depend upon rank for KEAM and the number of seats may be available in counseling.

The food quality here in the hostel mess of LBS Institute of Technology for Women is pretty good. This institute has a particular mess for residents of the hostel. Meals offered here are fresh, cooked, and vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian, and therefore amount to good experience inside the hostel. A mess committee is elected monthly to oversee food quality and hygiene, so that every student's opinion is counted. On the whole, the mess looks forward to providing a comfortable dining atmosphere for the residents and thereby enhancing campus life.
