Getting admission into Camellia Institute of Technology is relatively easier if the students meet the eligibility criteria. For B.Tech, aggregate marks in the 10+2 education level, with a minimum percentage of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are the requirements. The principal source of admission is through WBJEE or JEE Main. Central counseling helps to fill most of the seats. However, direct admissions are also there if seats are vacant after counseling. Though the admission process is simple, competition may vary as per the chosen branch of engineering and demand for seats in the institute.

Yes, direct admission exists in Camellia Institute of Technology. In case students meet the eligibility criterion, generally by obtaining an aggregate of at least 45% in 10+2 examinations, they have a choice to get admitted into the college directly, irrespective of entrance exam scores. There is a management quota for nearly 50% of the seats that are filled for direct admissions and are subject to approval by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, WBSCTE. It is an excellent opportunity for students who could not get a rank in entrance exams such as WBJEE or JEE Main.
