Admissions into the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT) will only depend on the marks obtained in an entrance examination, for example, JEE Main or the institute's entrance exam. The admission process cut-offs of the Institute depend on the strength of applicants as well as on the availability of seats. This way, the cut-off varies year to year. The cut-off for JEE Main usually falls in line with the total merit and category of a candidate.
