MGU Kerala admit candidates to the BCom and BCom (H) programme on a merit-basis. Hence, the applicants are selected based on their performance in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 or equivalent examination. The students are not required to appear for an entrance examination as such. Candidates seeking admission can apply on the university official website.

To get a seat in BCom course of Mahatma Gandhi University, a candidate must have the required minimum qualification. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with the relevant subjects can apply. The aspirants, who are pass in Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board can apply. In addition, applicant should have completed at least 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024. At the time of admission and form filling, aspirant should have the educational certificates with them. These documents are required for verification purposes.

Yes, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Kottayam branch is a good institution for students who wish to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma. This institute offers two PG Diploma courses which are as follows:Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (English)Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (Malayalam)These courses are practical and output-oriented. But since I earlier said that if you can manage to get the Delhi one then all the other IIMCs are pale as compared to that one. So, if you'll ask me i'll once again recommend you to the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi.
