For admission to MSc Pyschology at MG University, a candidate should hold a valid BA/BSc degree in Psychology. Additionally, the candidate should have secured at least 50% aggregate. Candidate also have to present the pass certificate and mark sheets during form filling and at the time of admission verification purposes.

The MSc placement report 2023 is not released as of now. However, as per the university NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during MG University PG 2-year placements in 2022 stood at INR 5 LPA. In addition, a total of 87 students were placed out of 440 students during PG 2-year placements in 2022. A dip of nearly 17% is seen in the PG 2-year median package offered in 2022 as compared with 2021.

Both MGU and Calicut University are popular universities in Kerala. In the NIRF 2023 rankings, MG University leads Calicut on 31st spot and the latter has secured 70th position. Hence, ranking-wise MGU is a better option. However, the course fee is more economical at the Calicut University. MGU MA fees range between INR 1,900 and INR 1.8 Lacs and at Calicut University, the MA fee range from INR 950 to INR 82,500. Candidates can consider their prorities (location, fees, and more) and make a choice.Further, it must be noted that the mentioned fee is taken from unofficial sources. As per the MGU UG Brochure for admission through CAP, the complete admission schedule is available. The application form was released on May 15. Additionally, the last date to apply and for fee payment is Jun 7. Eligible students shall submit their applications on or before the prescribed deadline. After the closing of application window, the provisional rank list is expected to be published on Jun 12.
