Quality of any institute depends on the students be it IIT, IIIT, NIT etc. The Brand value they create depends upon factors like top class faculty members present, funds received from government etc. However such factors just ACT as catalyst initially, while the long term success depends only on the students. Hi NADAGOUDA, there is a bad news for you that IIIT Kurnool currently does not offer Ph.D. in geoinformatics. They currently offer Ph.D. in 5 departments namely Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electronics and communication Engineering, Mathematics and English . You can go for one of those if you fit in with eligibility criteria. All the best.
