Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences is the top BSc Nursing college in Lucknow according to NIRF for the year 2023 under the Medical category. It was established in 1980 under State Legislature Act. The institute is named after Sanjay Gandhi. The institute is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Hi, there are 30+ best BSc Nursing colleges in Lucknow of which 20 colleges are owned privately, 3 are owned by the government and the rest one college is owned by semi government institutions. There are many prestigious Nursing colleges in Lucknow to pursue BSc in Nursing courses like KGMU, IUL, Avadh Institute of Medical Technology and Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Era University. Admission to most BSc Nursing colleges in Lucknow is done on merit basis.
