SGSITS Indore is worth being considered as a good institute as it owns recognitions and accreditations of various national governing bodies. The Institute is recognised by UGC, AICTE and has several NBA accredited courses. Apart from this, SGSITS Indore has BTech as its flagship course which ranks under the rank-band of 201-300, withing the Engineering category of NIRF 2024. The Institute offers merit and means-based admission along with various scholarships to benefit from. Therefore, it can be concluded that SGSITS Indore is a good institute.

Shri GS Institute of Technology and Science Indore is a private institute that was established in 1952. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya (University of Technology in Bhopal, MP). SGSITS Indore does not have any branches but it has 15+ departments that offer various specialisations in UG and PG level.

All the different specialisations of BTech at AKS University are four-year-long courses spanning over eight semesters with different course materials and subjects. The course material has both theoretical and practical hours with both theoretical and practical evaluations.The course structure remains more or less the same. The award of credits differs each semester and in each specialisation. If candidates are applying for BTech at AKS University through lateral entry, then they will have to commit to a three-year-long programme with the course material spanning over six semesters. Candidates who have a polytechnic diploma can apply for the lateral entry BTech.Candidates need to have a polytechnic diploma in the same specialisation as the BTech specialisation that they want to apply. If candidates want to apply for BTech without lateral entry, then they’ll have to commit to a four-year-long course which spans over eight semesters.

As per Shiksha student reviews, the average package offered during placements 2023 for AKS University BTech was INR 7 LPA with the highest salary package for BTech Mining being INR 5 LPA and for BTech Computer Science being INR 12 LPA.The companies that visit the campus regularly include, INFOSYS, TCS, Genpact, Cisco, IBM, Mankind, Cipla, Amazon, etc. BTech at AKS University then, is a lucrative course not just in terms of academics but also the placement opportunities provided by the university.

LLM at AKS University is completely offline. The classes and the evaluation for the exam take place in the offline mode. Students have to appear for classes at the university campus to be eligible for semester-end evaluations.Material related to curriculum like coursework, internships, and research also are done offline. There is a hostel facility in single and shared occupancy on a first come first serve basis and scholarships are available for rented accommodation for people traveling to Satna city to study the course.
