Eligible applicants are needed to apply through the RGPV website. Selection for BSc in the college is made on an online form submitted to the college website. Application forms need to be uploaded and the online application fee paid. Admissions are strictly based on class 12 results. Apart from that, the shortlisted candidates would also be interviewed as a part of the selection process. Once a candidate is selected, the email address or mobile number registered is informed of his/her admission through this portal.

The seat allotment in the BSc programme in RGPV is basically done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the last qualifying examinations. Allotment is done in many rounds of counselling on a merit basis. In addition, some seats are also given to specific categories in order to provide a much more balanced and fairer choice to each eligible student.

After the submission of the BSc application form by the applicant, admission follows up with a multi-stage procedure at RGPV. The university goes through the process of checking the merit of a candidate in the eligibility criteria set by it, though it has the personal interview round. Merit holders will be given counselling options for entry into the website of the university. Admission of students to the university is confirmed upon receipt of the admission fee against the names that appear on the merit lists. Admissions are confirmed through a notification that is sent to the registered email address or mobile number.
