For MBA graduates the average initial pay packet at SSSUTMS is between INR 3 to  INR 5 Lacs per annum. Nevertheless, this can be stated as average, and depends on the specialization, the skills of the student and his or her results during placements. The special placement cell of the university is always functioning to ensure the students get placed well, and big amounts of packages can be bagged with the help of few firms or sectors existing like finance, marketing and consulting sectors. Thus, it should be pointed out that the higher the level of experience the higher the capacity of salary in the given employment setting.

Here in SSSUTMS (Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Technology and Management Studies), there are differences in placing students course wise. About 85% of our Engineering and Technology students get placed in IT software industries and manufacturing companies while management students are easily placed in corporate sectors such as finance, marketing, HR, etc. The placement cell of university assists, thereby offering internships, training, and campus recruitment. The affiliation to top companies may not be this frequent but based on the students' skills and performance, it's good.

The placement of B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Jabalpur Engineering College is on a higher side, since almost 75% of students have been placed here. The highest package this time is offered was to INR 11 LPA while the average stands to be approximately INR 4.41 LPA. Recruiters are mostly like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and others. However, there has been a question of effectiveness about the placement cell because it fails to bring in the top-tier companies in a consistent manner. As this is a relatively new specialization, students are encouraged to improve their skills independently to make themselves more employabl

The M.Tech course in Jabalpur Engineering College is moderately challenging. The entry to the course is through GATE qualification; however, non-GATE candidates also get in based on merit if the GATE-qualified students are not available. The curriculum often is criticized for being outdated, which would make the students less ready for the industry demands. However, the exam pattern is very soft, so students can easily pass with minimal preparation. Although the college provides many specializations, the placement opportunities are not so good as very few companies visit for recruitment, and thus students have to develop their skills b
