Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) does not usually offer 100% scholarships to students. However, it has merit-based scholarships and other financial assistance schemes to minimize the tuition fees of meritorious students. Scholarships to SC/ST students and economically weaker sections by the government are also available.

The quality of food in the hostel mess usually found by students at Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) is quite good. There is a provision for various meal types in the mess, whether it be North Indian, South Indian, or else, by a student's taste. Maintaining hygiene, food prepared is made in clean kitchen rooms that are kept under good hygienic maintenance. In this regard, the eligibility for B.E./B.Tech in Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology are eligible through 10+2 and equivalent exams with Physics, Mathematics and English as the compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Bio-technology or Biology. The students must have secured a minimum percentage as indicated with aggregate marks of 45% in the qualifying exams which is relaxed to 40% in the case of the SC/ST candidates. Admission will be based on scores in KCET/COMEDK UGET, and applicants should be at least 17 years of age by December 31 of the admission year.
