 For admission to the BSc programme at Shivaji University candidates should have a minimum of 40% - 50% in class 12 from the Science stream. Some of the BSc specialisations offered at Shivaji University are Zoology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Nanotechnology, Physics, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry and Computer Science.

 At Shivaji University, the BSc programme is only available in the specialisation of Nano Science and Technology. Additionally, there is an integrated BSc-MSc programme that lasts five years. To be eligible for admission to the School of Nanoscience and Technology at Shivaji University in Kolhapur, candidates must have scored at least 45% marks in their Class 12 Science exam (for open category) or 40% marks (for reserved categories). They must also pass the entrance exam conducted by the university.

As per unofficial sources, the total tuition fee for the MBA programme at Shivaji University is INR 38,150 - INR 2.1 lakh. There is a range in the fee because the fee of each specialisation is different from the other. A bachelor's degree in any stream is the minimum requirement for an MBA at Shivaji University. In addition, MBA admissions are handled through COAP. Candidates are selected through an entrance exam followed by a centralised counselling process.

 Shivaji University has a seat intake of 60 for an MBA offered at the university's department. Apart from this, the university offers a full-time MBA through 17 colleges affiliated with it. The number of seats is seats are taken from unofficial sources and it also changes year to year so this information is indicative.

To be eligible for the MBA programme at Shivaji University, candidates need to have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for reserved categories). The candidates need to appear for a qualifying entrance exam such as MAH-MBA/MMS CET or CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT, etc., and score well to be considered for admission.
