The cutoff rank for this college is around 30-60k for all branches.

Only CAT and GMAT is accepted. I would suggest you to attempt GMAT. It can be taken any time of the year. Plus the fee difference between NITK is so huge that spending an additional 12,000 INR for GMAT to get in NITK should not be a problem.

NIT Surathkal is one of the top institute. You need to get above 300 marks in JEE Mains to get a seat for CSE.

You cannot get admission in NIT, Surathkal through general category with 30k rank. Try to score above 190 marks.

You have to spend Rs.4 lakhs to Rs.6 lakhs to pursue B.Tech.
