MIT Manipal is better than SRM on several levels and also the placements are better.

IT is a sister branch of CS which does not contain the core stuff of the branch. So, you can go for CS in further studies.

Yes, you can prepare for the course but you need to prepare for the exam as Amity gives you the admission on the basis of 70% and JEE Main score.

Hello Surendra, Candidates must have secured 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects in 10+2 or A level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent. In the eligibility criteria of MET 2019, there is no minimum age requirement. According to MET 2019 eligibility criteria, candidates need to have secured 50% marks in the entrance exam to be considered eligible for counselling and further admission process. Good luck. Honestly, I don't know much about Manipal University, but Thapar Institute is one of the oldest institutes and according to me, is the best of all if considered for Engineering. This is my personal experience as 3 generations of my family is alumni from Thapar Institute. Therefore, I would suggest you, go for Thapar Institute, as you would also get more exposure and better guidance through their highly educated faculty members.
