No, there is no need to appear for CAT for admission to the IPM course in IIM Indore. There is a separate exam for IPM admission conducted by IIM Indore with the name - IPMAT - Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test.IIM Indore conducts its own IPMAT, IIM Ranchi accepts IPMAT Indore scores and SAT scores, IIM Rohtak conducts it own IPMAT and IIM Bodh Gaya and Jammu together conduct an examination called JIPMATAll three IPMAT exams have different patterns and difficulty levels.
